The man (moustache and tie) in the lower right-hand corner of the photo above which features Maye Bruce, is my grandfather: Alan Cooper who was a member of the Australian Expeditionary Force and wounded at Gallipoli.  I have a postcard of the same photo with his comment on the back.  He mentions that all the servicemen in the photo are Australians.  He was himself born in London, but served in the Australian Forces.  This is what it says on the back of the postcard.

Dear Mum and Will,
Just a few lines.  Can you see me here? How do you like the mo?  These are all Australians.  There is another group to come.  I don't look very fat here.  Am feeling fair.  Hope to see you soon.  Trusting you are both well, love from Alan.
The post card is addressed to Mrs. Cooper, 218 Leahurst Road, London, SE.

Thank you Richard, that's excellent information and hopefully will lead to more information about the other Australians in the photograph.
